Libertalia was a legendary free colony founded by pirates led by Captain Misson, although most historians have expressed doubts over its existence outside of literature. Whether Libertatia was real but somehow "lost" to history, a pirate legend that the author recorded based on interviews with sailors, or a concocted work of utopian fiction by the author from the start is contested. Little to no corroborating evidence for Libertatia beyond this account has been found, however. The main source for Libertatia is Volume 2 of A General History of the Pyrates, a 1724 book which describes Captain Misson and Libertatia. The configuration options also let you adjust the graphics to your device's capabilities.Libertatia (also known as Libertalia) was a purported pirate colony founded in the late 17th century in Madagascar under the leadership of Captain James Misson (last name occasionally spelled "Mission", first name occasionally "Olivier"). The gameplay is fun and complex, and the graphics are simply incredible. The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt is a 3D action game of outstanding quality. With the money you get you can do many things: repairing the damage done to your ship is imperative, but buying cannon balls and recruiting new members for your crew – not to mention making improvements to your ship – are also necessary. In between missions you can visit Caribbean ports to sell your loot. That said, the missions generally consist of very specific objectives that you'll have to complete quickly. Whenever you want you can set sail, turn the helm, and, of course, take out your cannons. Players can sail their pirate ship freely through an amazing 3D environment. And being captain of this pirate ship will mean much more than shooting cannons and hoisting the sails. The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt is a third-person action and adventure game where players take the helm of a pirate ship that plunders the Caribbean waters.
